About Me


My Name is Yannick Chairi, I am characterized by my team spirit, assertiveness, and the will to undergo a life-long process of continuous learning. I have the ability to quickly grasp new ideas, a very strong analytical mind, and a willingness to take on responsibility.

Currently, I serve as the Manager of a Cyber Incident Response & Crisis Center, where I lead an Incident Response Team and a team of trainers. My role involves the development, management, and delivery of a comprehensive Cyber Incident Response Service. I specialize in Digital Forensics and Incident Response, and I also develop, manage, and deliver training and preparedness services such as Cyber Threat Intelligence, Tabletop Exercises, Threat Hunting, and Cyber Security Incident Response Plan (CSIRP) development. Additionally, I frequently deliver keynote speeches on IT security.

In addition to my management role, I am a Lecturer at a University of applied sciences, where I teach and mentor students in the latest technologies and methodologies in the field.

As the founder of the IT consulting firm Chairi.IT, I provide IT and IT security consulting services, including but not limited to, penetration tests, IT security audits, and network architecture services. My firm is dedicated to helping businesses secure their digital infrastructure and respond effectively to security incidents.

Previously, I worked in several roles, where I among other duties managed the Incident Response Retainer for a large geographic region, provided proactive services such as Threat Hunting and Cyber Threat Intelligence, and workshops such as Table Top Exercises, conducted incident handling and forensic investigations of IT security incidents, and offered IT security consulting.

Skills and Certifications

I am certified as a Cyber Security Professional (IHK) and hold several GIAC certifications including Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA), Forensic Analyst (GCFA), Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI), and Strategic Planning, Policy, and Leadership (GSTRT). I am also an Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP). My technical skills include programming in C++, C#, Python, PowerShell, and Java, as well as broad expertise in various forensics and IT security tools.


Personal Interests

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy chess, athletics, photography, programming, Kung-Fu, and playing the piano.
